Dr. Portner resides in Morgantown, where she’s close to her parents and her sister’s family in Fairmont. She enjoys running, outside activities with her German shepherd Berkeley, and spending time with her family and friends. As a WVU alum, she still enjoys cheering on the Mountaineers every weekend.

Paige is Pennsylvania native with a longstanding history in Morgantown. She has an arsenal of optometric experience from her time at Regional Eye Associates and has become a phenomenal asset to the CLEC team serving as both lead optician and office manager. She single handedly runs the optical, mans our in-office lab, and solo-runs the office on non-patient days.

Leslie also comes to the CLEC team with a plethora of knowledge from Regional Eye Associates which helped her seamlessly transition into CLEC’s receptionist role. Beyond just the face that greets you, Leslie is priceless, she’s a go-getter, willing to try her hand in all facets of the practice, mastering them with ease. Also catch her if you’re in the market of buying or selling your home, as she’s also a local licensed real-estate agent.

Miah joins the CLEC team from Wheeling, WV. Her unconventional path to the optometric world includes: beauty school, a Disney internship, and then night shift patient monitoring at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She has most definitely found her calling in both optometry and patient care though as our lead technician and contact lens guru. There’s no stopping her either, she’s already begun mastering optical and vision benefits.

Savannah is a Baltimore, MD native. Her optometric career spans several years, starting at Baltimore’s Wilmer Eye Institute before moving locally to WVU’s Eye Institute. Her ophthalmic background made switching to optometry a breeze, that and she’s no stranger to glasses as she has been wearing them since childhood! Starting as CLEC’s front desk receptionist, she’s already added optician to her growing skill set. When she’s not fitting specs, Savannah pride’s herself in being the best cat, dog, and fish mom!

Berkeley James. Office mascot, model, and Dr. Portner’s pride & joy. Catch him sniffing around the office on the weekends!
